Got a small Denso alternator with internal regulator and no wiring diagram.
The two lower of the three regulator pinouts are labeled as IG and L. The upper is a D connection. Anybody know what the different connections are for? |

Check the diagram at the bottom of this document:
http://www.f1-rocketboy.com/alternator.htm . If that is no help, do a Google search on "Denso alternator connection diagram" that yielded 136 candidates, including the one above. OK. I figured out the IG (ignition) and L (lamp) connectors.
And just now found that the D connector is a dummy connector that does not do anything. The S connector in the reference you gave has some meaning (battery Sensing). But the D had me scratching my head. "Vaughn" wrote in message ... Check the diagram at the bottom of this document: http://www.f1-rocketboy.com/alternator.htm .
