Does anyone still make a reduction drive for V6 or V8 engines like

It is not a belted PSRU, it's a Hy Vo chain unit. The Northwest Aero unit is a descendent of the Blanton unit, sort of. The owner of NW Aero (now retired) saw the Blanton unit and was impressed with it and was also a machinist. He thought he could do it more professionally and did so. What you see now is a refinement of his original drive. It has lots of improvements such as sealed oil bathed bearings for the front two bearings instead of bearings that must be periodically greased. Corky Scott |
