Any ideas where I can get a ring tone for my mobile phone that sounds like an electric vario. I have heard one, but was not quick enough to ask where he had got it. I can think of basically 2 ways: (1) Create one yourself This might be done by either a) recording a real-life vario in action and convert the wav-file to something your phone can use, or b) use a composer tool for FM-synthesis (which will give you the very best results -- if your phone can handle it) (2) Use an existing file, e.g. from flight simulators like "Sailors of the Sky" or "SFS(PC)"... These files should be included in the free-of-charge demo versions. Again, you need a tool to convert the file into something usable for your phone. For both ways you need to establish a connection between your computer and your phone (cable, IR, Bluetooth, WiFi...) and you most probably need a driver or tool to upload files. Option (3) would have been to find a person who has the soundfile on his/her phone -- then you could have just ask him/her to send it over via SMS, email, IR, Bluetooth... Hope that helps. /Reno |
