Default marginal VFR in Northern California

I'm not sure I can handle CAVU with temperatures in the high 70s to low 80s
for the rest of the week, but I'll buck up as best I can {;-)

It was clear and still here this morning. And 6 below zero...

Not even a record for March 10 here in Vermont.

Corky (more snow coming Friday night) Scott

PS, old Vermont saying: "Around here we get 9 months of winter and
three months of rough sledding."

PPS, the nice thing about all the snow is that airports stick out like
sore thumbs.

"California Dreamin' on such a winter's day."

Sunday we got the Mustang convertible out of storage, and were driving
around with the top down. It was 73 degrees.

Today it's snowing to beat all hell, with a 40 mph wind.

You suck!

Hey now, Jim's not the only one that sucks. Me too, me too :-) I'm not
all that far from Jim (I'm down in the flat lands of the valley, he's in
the foothills, below the cumulo-granite of the Sierra Nevadas).
Yesterday was the first day driving to work without a jacket. The trip
home yesterday was by bike and I busted out the shorts, short sleeve
shirt, and summer time riding gloves.

Gotta agree with you though Jim, it's mighty nice flying weather these
days out here on the left coast. Though, for me as an instrument
student, it really doesn't matter since I get whacked upside the head if
I peek outside.
