I am looking for PIREPS on paintshops in the Northwest that have extensive
experience with pressurized airplanes. I am interested in those that use either particle blasting or chemical stripping.. Any pricing info (either shop rate or what a particular airplane cost to paint) would be appreciated too. Thanks in advance! Mike MU-2 |

Is blasting ever sand these days, or have plastic beads taken over? Dry ice? Ok, when you say "particle blasting," what do you mean? I checked Google and they were all over the map. Montblack |

To remove paint from aluminium they are using either glass beads or walnut
shells. Mike MU-2 "Montblack" wrote in message ... ("Mike Rapoport" wrote) I am looking for PIREPS on paintshops in the Northwest that have extensive experience with pressurized airplanes.
