I hope someone knows a workaround for this one:
I have a new notebook with a 15.4'' monitor and Intel Pentium 1.73 + ATI X700 (128MB) + 1024GB Ram and it runs FS9 + Level-D 767 + Active Weather 2004 + My Traffic very nicely! But: in resolution 1280x800 or 1280x768 the display is "sqeezed" (I have very flat and long/wide aircraft and cockpits, not as real as it gets). In resolution 1024x768 the display hs the correct proportions (and two black margins to the left an to the right, which don't bother me) Any ideas are welcome! Cheers and thanks, Heiko |

Cheers and thanks, Heiko There is no workaround, as you are not using a proportional resolution. To see things in correct proportion, you would have to run at 1280x1024, anything less on the vertical side (i.e. 800 or 768) is going to result in the "squeezed" display. I run at 1200x800 all the time.
Set your screen to 1200x800 before starting the sim. Start FS and go to OptionsSettingsDisplayHardware You should see your video card listed. Under Display Resolutions click on 1200x800x16 or 1200x800x32 see if this is the correct proportion. .....joisey "Quilljar" wrote in message ... Any ideas are welcome!
