I don't know what your definition of "pornography" is -- but mine
includes the occurence of at least one sex act. Anything short of
that is "art"...

So, BillyBoy was claiming that Monica was an "artist"?

Well, in Slick Willy's bizarre world, apparently oral sex wasn't a "sex
act". Thankfully, that era is long gone.

As a sex act, what Monica did for Bill would certainly be considered
"pornographic" (were it to be viewed on stage), therefore, by
definition, it can't be "art".

But that AIN'T what's happening at a strip joint. At least not at the
ones I've been in.

Do they have strippers?

By Gar, with a name like *that*, it sure sounds like they should...

Matt, you may wish to petition that church to change their
abbreviation. Some may find it offensive.

Lighten up. If "Emily" wants to posts airports close to Chippendale

Why not create a separate ng for you porn folks to use and keep this one
focused on piloting rather than porn?

"Porn"? Matt, there's no sex happening at a strip club. None. Zero.
Zip.

So that means that magazines like Hustler aren't porn then by your
definition, right?

Here's another great fly-in destination, and it even has airport in the
name. It isn't in NY or NJ, however. But if you are in the SFO area...

Call them and ask.

Nah, I'd rather use r.a.p as a portal for evangelism now that such is
considered acceptable here.

In an effort to find some common ground, Matt, let's explore the
similarities between church and a gentleman's club:

They both:

1. Have a stage.
2. Have music
3. Have ushers
4. Pay no taxes
5. Provide a service
6. Offer free parking
7. Don't serve alcohol (well, some churches serve wine)
8. Are open at odd hours
9. Are constantly advertising
10. Are as old as humanity itself
11. Seemingly put women in a subservient role, yet everyone knows they
are in complete control of everything.
12. You *do* need dollar bills for both.

As an ex-sailor, I can definitely state that there are strip joints in
which the girls will 'entertain' you in a dimly lit private booth
towards the back of the club... Of course, my data is probably close
to 25 years old, but I suspect that things might not be that different
these days... Wherever you find a large concentration of young single
guys who definitely outnumber the female population, private
enterprise will step up to bat...

All justification to now discuss churches in this forum! :-)

I generally keep my faith out of special interest groups like this as I
believe everything in its place and a place for everything. However, if
the desire is to expand the charter of this group, I'll happily participate.

Yes, that is often correct. Only the rose colored glasses folks think
these joints are about art. I about fell out of my chair laughing when
I saw that one... :-)
