I thought the psychological screening for astronaut selection would have
washed out anyone who lost their cool under stress. I wonder how it missed
this example?

But I believe Margot Kidder's issue was a chemical imbalance caused by
not taking her meds. I'm sure that condition would prevent holding a
class 3 medical, and likely prevent you from being in the space
program.

That's what I was wondering too, but then, I'm not smart enough to be a
astronaut. I'm now trying to figure out the Attempted Murder charge... BB
gun? 4" knife? Steel mallet? pepper spray? or did she try it in the
parking garage with the rubber hose and $600 cash? NASA version of CLUE?
