I found this old print in my grandparent's photos. Can anyone read the
pilot's name on this aircraft?

it might be carl k brown. the plane is one of the 1st pursuit squadron
planes.
brown was in that as a flight leader.
the middle initial looks like a K and the amount of letters look correct.

After some initial excitement, I was disappointed to realize that this was probably not a photograph of my father, Carl Kice Brown (actually, I'm the third in the family with that name). The poster above thought the plane was a 1st pursuit squadron plane -- but the logo is not of Eve chasing Adam around an apple. Instead it's a Hell's Angel, identifying the 3rd pursuit squadron.
