Does anyone know how the OLC calculates a flight's "take-off location?"
Two 2007-05-06 European flights (Klaus Goll and Max-Bernd Klein) have Nampa (US/8) listed as their OLC taking-off location. OLC list my 2007-05-06 flight take-off location as 7 Bays (US/8) when in reality it was Nampa (US/8). Wayne HP-14 "6F" http://www.soaridaho.com/ |

I believe it is a straight database of Lat/Lon linked to a takeoff
name, region, country. An error in the database means the flight goes to the wrong contest. Some poor guy in Germany has his takeoff shows as 108 Mile Ranch in British Columbia Canada. No use reporting it, they do not repair the data base yet it seems. I have tried. |

They have corrected all three of these flight's take-off locations. Wayne HP-14 "6F" http://www.soaridaho.com |

When I fly out of Sampley US/9, and file a direct claim,
I get the choices of three airports close to where I am. They list the wrong airport first and I have to change it to Sampley. There are three airports within a few miles and the one they default to is a mile away. I check it every time now. At 13:31 08 May 2007, Wayne Paul wrote: 'Wayne Paul' wrote in message ...
