Hmmmm, maybe that's when Christopher Cross went to New York.

On this particular day of this month, in the Year Of The Golden Pig, Bob
Harrington did state:

May 19th's Moon-Venus conjunction as seen from Seattle. And an Alaska
Airlines 737 on final approach to SEA...

Bob ^,,^

That is seriously cool, Bob !! (love to see a larger version)

And it seems to be true:

The bluest skies you've ever seen are in Seattle
And the hills the greenest green, in Seattle
Like a beautiful child, growing up, free an' wild
Full of hopes an' full of fears, full of laughter, full of tears
Full of dreams to last the years, in Seattle
.. . . in Seattle!

When it's time to leave your home and your loved ones
It's the hardest thing a boy can ever do
An' you pray that you will find someone warm an' sweet an' kind
But you're not sure what's waiting there for you!

The bluest skies you've ever seen are in Seattle
And the hills the greenest green, in Seattle
Like a beautiful child, growing up, free an' wild
Full of hopes an' full of fears, full of laughter, full of tears
Full of dreams to last the years, in Seattle
.. . . in Seattle!

instrumental break

When you find your own true love, you will know it
By her smile, by the look in her eye
Scent of pine trees in the air, never knew a day so fair
It makes you feel so proud that you could cry!

The bluest skies you've ever seen are in Seattle
And the hills the greenest green, in Seattle
Like a beautiful child, growing up, free an' wild
Full of hopes an' full of fears, full of laughter, full of tears
Full of dreams to last the years, in Seattle
.. . . in Seattle!

Yes, there's a bitch that replies to me, kinda telling me the

long as you violate the groups charter, or just Usenet's common decency,
I'll be there to report you. You being a traitor is a especial incentive.

It was Saturn and not Venus at this time in conjunction with the Moon.

Had to batter it a bit with Noise Ninja since I had to crank up the ISO to
keep the plane from oozing all over the frame. Not sure it will go much
larger with grace.

We try to keep the blue skies thing quiet to cut down on Californication
of the city. Might be why Mr. Como had that unfortunate shaving accident
a few years back. Just sayin'
