Fairchild Hiller Republic Aviation Division, Farmingdale, Long Island, NY

FINAL ASSEMBLY - All-weather F-106D's for the Air Force move down the
assembly line at Republic Aviation's Farmingdale, N.Y plant. The Mach 2
nuclear-carrying jet has been termed "the most powerful one-man airplane in
the world."

Yep, F105's for sure. Was loudest jet I ever heard during my USAF
days in the late 1960's at Nellis.
