I see how the roots of the wing are held on the spar but I can't figure out
how the wings are held up in the rear. My Sonerai has an eyelet under the fuselage. But what else do I need/ A pipe? Hook? clamp? John |

Read about the procedure he
http://users.lmi.net/~ryoung/Sonerai/Towbar.html I've somehow lost the picture of the "stock" tow bar, but that's what attached to the cross tube at the bottom of the fuselage aft. The wing securing tube was, at least on the IIL, in the middle of the fuselage aft. -- Ryan R Young Oakland, CA http://users.lmi.net/~ryoung From: (JFLEISC) Organization: AOL http://www.aol.com Newsgroups: rec.aviation.homebuilt Date: 16 Sep 2003 23:09:31 GMT Subject: Folding Wings on a Sonerai II I see how the roots of the wing are held on the spar but I can't figure out how the wings are held up in the rear. When you folded the wings back you would just slide a long (5/8th rod I think) shaft through all the holes and hold everything together with hitch pins. Jim |
