The CJ-6 is Yak-like and falls under the umbrella of the Yak Pilots Assn. It is not a Chinese copy of the yak, but it has a similar fuselage/engine setup from aft of the cockpit forward. it also has an entirely different wing, landing gear and tail and outperforms its Yak counterpart.
