Well, I like the Diana 2, too. It's really a nice bird.
Have you been able to watch the GP race online? I didn't see anything else, but the word R2 Webcasting and heard some music. Today I even can't watch the VOD of "Day 1" although I've paid for all access to get the high quality. I'm very disappointed! I didn't try to login for the live transmission (1am GMT+1... not
really practical), but i guess it is normal that if you try the live thing now you'll get the webcasting screen (i get it now). But for the video on demand, i still get a message saying the day 1 video is not yet available, even if it also says it should be available after 9am around here. Waiting.......... Hi,
I'm with you. I paid for access and I'm seeing nothing today (no live feeds and no video on demand) - even though I believe they flew yesterday. I hope it improves. I imagine it will. I really looking forward to following the action from here in Minnesota, USA. Paul Remde "Jürgen Becker" wrote in message ... Well, I like the Diana 2, too. It's really a nice bird. I have subscribed to the Hi-res version. I wasn't able to watch the
High Res last night, however, I did enjoy the whole race live in Low res. The coverage and commentary was Great and well worth spending the time on. I've logged on today and can now access the High res (750kps) show from yesterday. It is indeed a much higher quality video. The live broadcast Timing is perfect for the West Coast of the US. The race coverage is live from 7-10 pm. Paul Ephrata WA |

Although I'm only 100 miles or so from Omarama, I am suffering from a
thin Internet pipe and don't have enough bandwidth to get the high-res live feeds. As Paul says though, the low-res are pretty good and well worth viewing. Check out Tim's blog as well. Here in Dunedin, we are suffering from a strong southerly flow and a cold front that's brought rain and cloud to the east coast of New Zealand. Some of this may work its way over the mountain to Omarama and won't help soaring conditions there. High pressure and a more westerly flow is supposed to set up in the next few days, so conditions for the Grand Prix are looking to improve. Mike |

During the Start blackout I emailed Peter @ Airsports and received a reply
in about 8 minutes saying the sat was out. I tuned in later and watched the bulk of the action. I enjoyed it very much and have my twelve pack on ice for tonight's race.
