Hasn't always been the case. In my opinion, some of the best aviation photography I've ever seen came from the RAF during the 1930s to 1950s. Some of those B&W formation shots of Furies, Spitfires, Hurricanes, Hunters and Lightnings still make the ol' ticker go pitter-pat... |
