Used to work with an engineer that flew 51's out of Iwo Jima
said it was the longest flights he ever made, boring as hell
used to fall asleep, had large rubber bands on the stick to
keep the plane flying straight and level when he dozed off.
he was so skinny, had no fat at all on his butt, and the long
flights about killed him if he stayed awake.
