FLARM & Transponders in France
Bonjour & Hello!
A few quick questions about FLARM and transponders in France: 1.) Is FLARM required? 2.) When/where are transponders required? 3.) Are Mode-C transponders still legal in France, or are they all Mode-S now? Merci & Thanks! Chris F2

When/where are transponders required? Transponders are sometimes required to obtain a clearance in D class airspace. Most of gliders flying in France are not equipped 3.) Do not remember seeing any transponders but they may have been there I just didn't notice and was not told to activate.
