I think the Hangar is going to be bigger then the house I saw a TV show about hanger houses last year. If I understood it correctly, the tract is near an airport so that owners can taxi their aircraft directly from their house to a taxiway to a runway. But what I don't know is what they cost to buy and what the cost might be to have airport priveliges. Can you enlighten me, please? I assume the hit is really HIGH, only for those with real means who must first finance the plane itself and then the house. Thanks. -- HP, aka Jerry "Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity!" - Hanlon's Razor |

Try: http://fly-in.com/ http://skybronco.com/ When we moved to Spruce Creek, we laid out a number of items: 1. The Association must own and control the airport. 2. The pilots MUST be in charge! Lakeway and Ocean Reef come to mind where the anti-aviators run things. 4. Sewer & water from system (No well/septic tank for primary water/sewer). 5. Must be big enough to defend itself against the neighboring Philistines. 6. Proximity to shopping/schools/culture. No driving a half hour to get a can of paint or a loaf of bread. 7. No state income tax. 8. No snow to shovel. -- Remove _'s from email address to talk to me. |
