Jim,
Roger Fowler can do it. He's located in North Carolina, very near to Raleigh in the town of Apex. He recently repaired my glider after a couple of rod ends broke (general fatigue or just fed up with my landings over the past 15 years...) in the landing gear assembly, which allowed the landing gear to collapse during the landing roll- out. That work included a bit of fiberglass repair (internal, on a bulkhead where it was hard to access), some replacement of a couple of rod ends, and a bit of welding. And, he's recently performed a 3,000 hr inspection on another glider. He does excellent work. His e-mail is: n811fr at rogerfowler dot com Ray Lovinggood Carrboro, North Carolina, USA |
