Pass the word ! http://www.ilec-gmbh.com/software.htm Enjoy ! Best Regards, Dave & Juergen Ok, if I understand the AAT "Snap" feature correctly: I'm on the first leg, and I want to go deep into the area (undercalled task). I'm off the "black line" task (as drawn from start to first AAT turnpoint in center of area), just outside the area. I select the moving map, cursor at lower left, hit ENTER: the AAT turnpoint (small square drawn on map, line, task data) moves to a point on an extended line from the start through my current position, half way to the back of the area. I hit HELP, and get new stats. This new AAT turnpoint is offset L/R based on my displacement from the original course line, and the drawn task line on the map to the next AAT turnpoint center originates from this new turnpoint. I then continue deeper into the area, past the turnpoint, decide to turn. Do I go to the Task page and ENTER on the AAT turnpoint to establish the actual turnpoint (and adjust the map accordingly)? Sounds interesting; will there be an update to the demo ("simulator") to let us play with it on the ground? Love the USB adaptor - makes it soooo easy to load S/W & files and download igc files - great gizmo! Cheers, Kirk 66 |

Right. I then continue deeper into the area, past the turnpoint, decide to turn. *Do I go to the Task page and ENTER on the AAT turnpoint to establish the actual turnpoint (and adjust the map accordingly)? Right, same as always to acknowledge the actual turn. Sounds interesting; will there be an update to the demo ("simulator") to let us play with it on the ground? The code is available in the simulator (demo), but I haven't published a script that shows the new area task features in action... Love the USB adaptor - makes it soooo easy to load S/W & files and download igc files - great gizmo! Thanks ! Cheers, Kirk 66 Hope that helps, Best Regards, Dave |

Preferably with tech support I never need to call, but answers the phone in the event I do call ? Aarrrrgggg..... |

Let's see if I can install it in time to fly - excellent looking skies here in southern Arizona today - I would say a 300 km to 400 km day. Mike |
