LIFE Navy;s first jet on carrier
Recently Google started the hosting LIFE magazine photo archives.
and while researching other topics, found these photos. by the date and the subjects it appears that its the first landing trials of the Navys new jet on the USS Boxer CV-21 in March 1948. along with photos of the shore station activity . and a little fighter pilot humor to go along with it.. there are over 200 photos .. Enjoy...
