Default Spot Tracking Internet page clutter (multiple day tracks)

Is there a way to turn off previous day's track logs so that you only
see today's track log? Here is an example page:

http://share.findmespot.com/shared/f...g4Yk8I37Bu qe

I would love to see just today's flight but now am seeing previous
day's worth of flying as well.

Thanks,
Bruno - Br

Bruno et al:
Within your Spot account, you must create a separate shared page
with a 24-hour window, and use that link.

Not a good idea if someone doesn't notice you are missing for 24
hours. Not an issue at contests but it could be for solo flying.

After landing, you can log on and erase all your existing tracks.

Dreadfully sorry:
Should have specified to use the link to your newly created 24-hour
shared page if you want to see 24 hours, and use the other one if you
want to see more.
For example, the SPOT shared page the SSA site has for me will show 1
week of tracking.
Alternatively, get an Amateur Radio License/Licence and use APRS.
The person viewing the track can then decide which tracking website to
use and the time window to view, including weeks, months or years ago.
Warning: Those archived flights may be logged on two days if the
flight went past 0000Z.

That's one of the features of http://map.xinqu.net/spot/index.html

It only shows the most recent position, and has a link to the last
days track. All previous tracks are also available.

This works by downloading the track information from
share.findmespot.com and storing it on map.xinqu.net for later
display.

Thanks for the idea. Actually it is possible now to modify your
existing shared page, rather than creating a new one, which is helpful
in case you already distributed your url all over the place like
myself. Then just create a new page with 7 days window and distribute
only to select few and the SSA tracking page.

I just delete all the track points before I go flying again. I upload
pretty much every flight to the OLC, so that provides me with
"historical" data. I care about my SPOT tracks only until I get back,
or need to be retrieved.

Yes, I was doing the same for a while. But it requires quiet a few
steps and clicks, and at the frequent I fly it became a hassle, and
soon I abonded it. Let's see how the 24 hours will work, I would hope
it is smart enough to start a new track every day and not show the end
of the previous track when flying consequitive days...

Thanks for the good ideas. I wasn't very clear in the first post. I
don't look at my own SPOT tracks. The question was for looking at
other people's tracks. Nothing better than wasting time at work
watching friends make progress on an amazing soaring day. It sounds
like they will have to do this work for their own pages so this
clutter doesn't show. Wish that SPOT would just make it an option on
every spot page to just see last 24 hours if the viewer desires.

Thanks,
Bruno - B4
