My grandfather worked on the engineering of the wooden construction of the
Albatross, and later the engineering of the Mosquito. This was done at the
Ministry of Industry's timber mechanics laboratory at Princes Risborough.
When asked what his major contribution to the war effort was, he thought of
this.
