Indonesia to bolster its air force with more Russian aircraft

The Indonesian air force will buy eight more Sukhoi jet fighters from
Russia to add to its existing four.

And in response Australia is retiring her F-111s without replacement?

Come back in 5 years, let's see how many of these new jets that the Indos
can launch with half a day's notice. Maintenance and training aren't
really strong in the region and Sukhois make expensive craters.

Probably cheaper to buy more than maintain the 4 rust buckets they have.
(They couldn't run a two seater **** house, even if we provide the paper and
running water)
