The Tonopah Brewing Company owned by the same is pretty
respectable. Good BBQ and the Microbrew beers are not bad either.
Especially for TPH. Worth a visit if you are flying close by.!

What don't you like about WSJ editorial policies ?
Those of you who didn't make it, Tonopah was the site of a spectacular 15 meter nationals and a great regionals around 2000. I did a task at 119 mph... And Gary Ittner beat me, by doing 126.
It's also very beautiful. I hope the infrastructure improves to the point we can fly there again.

Great except for the task under a huge storm that was not cancelled,
where a number of us flew home and put the gliders away to be safe...
Spectacular for sure!
