TST 14M on W&W

I admit I am not at all familiar with this glider and I couldn't really find much about it on the interwebs. I'm also not in the market. Just wondering why a seemingly modern two-seat motor glider would be selling (or not) at such a low price.

I've looked at one here in France, it looked well built but also
looked quite lightly built. The engine installation was perhaps
not up to main-stream German standards. I flew in the same
vicinity and it certainly seemed to fly well enough. It's a rare
beast even here in the EU so I'd guess it's not an many
peoples radar. Might affect its saleability?

Agreed, we had a single seat MG on our field. If you thought a Libelle had thin cockpit walls, look at the TsT.

I seem to remember an Ed Kilbourne song about an LS-4 for $5 in a
divorce case. You never know. Those BRS chutes also need very
expensive re-packs every 10-15 years or so....

There was an attempt to get a club rolling at Vail, Colorado, using this glider. https://www.facebook.com/vailsoaringclub/ has some more ground and in-flight images. The website domain is unreachable.

Seems to only have been 10 or 20 ever made???

Looking at the Manuel - it look pretty good on paper. I am looking at - so any info would be helpful. no for racing but a nice family xc ship. (maybe)

Bob Carlton has a TsT-14 Bonus.
I've only had one flight with Bob.
It has a slightly different engine to the standard M, and climbs at nearly 1000'/min with two on board.
Don't thermal it too slow.

George Saunders bought one on Wings and Wheels 3 yrs ago, for about the same price this is selling for and moved it to CO...it's probably the same one.

The engine in the TsT-14 Bonus that belongs to Bob Carlton is more than "slightly different." The TsT-14 for sale has a Rotax piston engine and propeller. Bob's TsT-14 is powered by a PBS TJ-100 jet turbine, which is about as different as you can get without going to a "Mr. Fusion" reactor like on the ""Back to the Future DeLorean.
