I was reading the book written by Manfred von Richthofen better known as The
Red Baron. Assuming the book was not edited for propaganda value and what's written is his own words, the secret of his success might perhaps be due to his great enthusiasm. He emphasizes that its not tricks of flight but agressiveness of the pilot (or flying man as the book calls them) that ensures success in air combat. http://www.richthofen.com/ |
