This mornings 'rag' paper (Houston Chronicle) had an article headed:
"PILOT CRASHES OLD MIG ON TAKEOFF" Pilot was flying to an Air Show at Bloomington, IN and stopped at Little Rock National Airport for fuel. On take-off lost power and was too far down R/W to stop, running off the end. quote "This is the last single seat Mig-15 in the United States". "he feared that the Mig may be a total loss". unquote So another old timer bites the dust. Was a old bird that went in a couple of weeks ago at English Air Show. If you believe the old saying that accidents happen in three's, we can look forward to another one shortly ![]() Big John |
