Within the next few weeks, I'll be taking my first passengers aloft in
a Cessna 172. Although I have flown as a passenger without a headset in the past, I can't really remember whether or not I had difficulty communicating with others in the plane - it's been a while. I've removed my headset occasionally during x-countries and, although the noise doesn't bother me (and the cool air felt good on my ears!), I'm concerned about others who might be more sensitive. I'd like the passengers to be comfortable and able to hear what's happening on the radio. I can rent headsets from the FBO, I believe, but I'm not sure about availability. Anyone have thoughts on the best way to handle this? -Scott |
