With such a wealth of people and information on this forum, I thought I'd
throw this out there.... What do you guys reckon to flight training up to CPL abroad. I always thought I wanted to go ATPL when I was younger, but since starting to learn in a C-152 aerobat and flying a Duchess, I altered my goals to flying GA. So much more fun, also it would seem there are a greater variety of jobs out there. Current situation is that I got my FAA ASEL 4 years ago and have done little flying since except a few hours and my BFR 2 years ago..... realise I have some catching up to do! I live in the UK though, and it would appear that GA opportunities are limited and expensive. Anyone here ever moved to take up this career? where did you go? As always, any advice, anecdotes or suggestions are very welcome. Tom Ferris |
