I have read a reference that kermit weeks' ki-61 has two tail units. I
understand that there is an allegation that a relatively intact Ki-61 in PNG had its tail unit scavenged (illegally) and that the extra tail unit that is with the Week's 61 belongs to that aircraft. Considering the rarity of this aircraft (only one in display condition in the world--and that is a dash -11 model, not the earlier models that saw extensive combat, is it really ethical to be holding on two tail units) especially if the unit was taken under suspect circumstances?
