Opportunities for Junior Pilots, US Team

U.S. JUNIOR SOARING PILOTS INVITED TO SIGN UP ONLINE

The U.S. Soaring Team Committee, assisted by the Soaring Society of
America, is developing a Junior Pilots mailing list with online signup
capability. Soaring pilots under age twenty six with an interest in
cross country and competition are invited to sign up now to receive
the first edition of the Team's Junior News which will be in the mail
soon. The Team's Junior List will be used to communicate cross
country, camp, competition and team related soaring opportunities.

Taking a page from the hugely successful Junior program developed in
the United Kingdom the U.S.Team Committee, largely through the
leadership of committee member Tim Welles, has begun to make headway
with the emerging Junior Team Development Program and to identify
opportunities for Junior pilots interested in cross country and
