Default towplane mirrors

It makes a big difference what you're towing with.
Previous post on Pawnees correct. Supercub, Scout,
Citabria, and especially Cessnas a very different animal.
My favourite was a Hudson mirror on a Supercub...
if you you've never driven a Hudson, try a Studebaker.
Know of a couple of electric adjustable mirror installations
out there, for tuggies of different sizes.

Experienced towpilots know what's going on from control
position and feel. Still very worthwhile to watch
the slack come out on the ground, and stop before the
rope overruns....

For me, no reliable mirror, no tow.
