om...
There is a new format of iPAQs. I just look at HP web site and the
have new (at least new to me and my knowledge) iPAQ 4705, 3715,
3115,etc. Does anyone know how they work with WinPilot and Cambridge
302 for example? How about those digital iPAQs? Looking for feedback
and information.

Any program that ran on previous versions of iPaq will run on the new
ones (check for presence of serial interface though). Display
resolution defaults to 240x320 for these programs. Whether there is
any advantage to higher resolution for soaring is in my mind
questionable. In a cockpit one can hardly see the color screens in any
case, making features smaller will just make things worse. 10%
increase in display size is not enugh to compensate. (Disclaimer) Have
not seen the new iPaqs in action.
