I'm purchasing a glider and have started selecting the instruments. I'm
looking the Borgelt B50 and the Cambridge 302. I will be using an iPAQ running flight software in conjunction with this instrument. If I select the Borgelt, I'll also need a separate flight logger. I expect to fly a significant amount of cross country, but not competition (excluding the OLC, of course). I'm interested in the pros and cons and any insights folks might care to offer. At this point I'm leaning towards the Cambridge in part because it is an intergrated unit. I also like the functionality and the integration with the PDA. Thanks, John Scott |
