Seeking Gadsden Alabama/KGAD Information
Mom's Airline/Mom's Individual Air Charter, an occassionally unscheduled
carrier will be flying to Gadsden AL (KGAD) this week. New charts and pubs have been purchased and reviewed. Last time I was there was 20+ years ago. Any recent information from those living in the vicinity would be appreciated. I went to AirNav and reviewed the supplied comments. I plan to leave Columbus OH NLT 0630 Saturday morning. I will be IFR direct (/G) with a no-wind flight time of 3 hours each way. I have to be back in Columbus to coach a soccer game at 1415, so this will be a quick turn. Is there anywhere close to grab a fast breakfast? Forecast winds and weather are looking good at this time. How much skydiving activity is there on the weekends this time of year?
