Region Nine contest updates

Due to overwhelming demand from entered contestants the Region Nine
contest will begin with practice day on June 4th instead of June 3rd to
allow folks to work on Friday.The contest will still end on June 10th.
We will have a tow plane available beginning on June 2nd for those who
chose to arrive early.
As way of explanation, practice was originaly set for the 3rd to allow
for a seven day contest and time for many of us who are working at
Hobbs to get to the contest in Parowan on time as we are working there
as well.
We have sent an e-mail to all contestants notifying them of the
changes. The contest managers will be Dennis Wright and Alan Gleason
and I have assumed to role of Competition Director due to Charlie
Spratt's medical problems.Thanks to all of you who called me and
suggested I try not to do both jobs at the same time.
I am still seeking a qualified tow pilot to fly a very nice Pawnee to
which we have access.
