Has anyone here every flew to or by this place? It is about 30 miles
South of Fairbanks. I was flying around that area in MS FS 2004 and noticed a runway on top of a small plateau in the middle of nowhere with no other mountain terrain near by around. In FS 2004 it is 1000 ft tall with just enough room for the runway. I found that curious and was wondering if it is really like that. The only thing I can find with google is it used to be a radio relay station for the air force, but no photos or topographical maps to confirm what was in FS 2004. -- Chris W Gift Giving Made Easy Get the gifts you want & give the gifts they want http://thewishzone.com |
