Yes, they do look nice but the problem comes with the paper work or
lack there of. Unless the panel replicates what exists in your plane the mod is considered a "major repair" and needs at STC, PMA . Avion soes not provide this. My 170 was modified extensively about 6 years ago by the former owner. Other 170 owners have also done this mod. It is an easily over looked item when one buys an airplane. A new buyer focuses on damage history and airframe and engine times. The reality is you need the paper work for this mod. Those that have purchased directly ( I have not) from Avion claim that Avion "promised" to provide the paperwork but they do not follow through. I am in the process of trying to get a field check.
