Sorry Bill, but I don't see how the drive shaft would (or could)
reduce engine vibration.

It _might_ reduce drive shaft harmonic responses.
Or it might actually increase harmonic responses.

Too many variables to call it without specifics.

But, in general, heavier parts respond to higher frequencies.

Lighter parts are more likely to respond to lower (closer
to engine frequencies.

Not much help today, am I...
