Wow!! 44?! With temps like that, they soon may discover Rwy 25 under all
that ice! ![]() Jim "Jay Honeck" wrote in message oups.com... BTW... MSNBC says you don't have any snow cover in Iowa, just thought I'd let ya know ![]() Actually, we *are* apparently an anomaly now. The recent warm weather has completely melted the snow in Des Moines, and to the southeast of us in Burlington -- but we've still got a good 6 - 8 inches on the ground, with humongous piles of it everywhere. We at least were able to bust up some of the ice that had formed in between our buildings today, with 44 degree temps. Man, that stuff was thick, and like iron. Kept my 15 year old son busy for HOURS! -- Jay Honeck Iowa City, IA Pathfinder N56993 www.AlexisParkInn.com "Your Aviation Destination" |
