I got an answer from Monty at M&H on this. The standard configuration
is one spring. The main axle must be checked to be sure it isn't too tight, and the gear mechanisms must be lubricated at least once a year. If all those are done and it's still to hard to raise and lock the gear, a second spring can be added. ~tuno |
