I am the author of the recent article on the 15m Ensign Sailplane Hangars in
SOARING. We are please with the ones we've built at Stanton Airfield in Minnesota and welcome other clubs and FBOs to learn about these quality kits. We recently determined that shipment to Europe is much lower than one would expect, only $700 (USD) was quoted from California to Ireland for instance. That's less than it costs by truck within the USA, so we encourage our European friends to consider these sailplane hangar kits. An 18m version of the kit is also now officially available. The first one has completed assembly in New Mexico recently, and the new owner is thrilled with the result. The Ensign kits are becoming increasingly popular with motorglider owners as no help is needed getting your glider out or putting it away. If any of you have any questions about the Ensign Hangars please contact me through the website he http://stantonairfield.com/ensign.html Good lift, TOM RENT |
