Garmin already makes the G10, a little handy dandy Bluetooth GPS smaller than a large pack of gum. WXWorx already makes a Bluetooth Weather and XM radio transceiver. How do the Bluetooth devices react when you press the PTT button and hurl several watts of amplitude-modulated fire into the ether from an antenna that's only a few feet away?
