Film: Nebesny Tihohod (1945, USSR)
A simple and lovely story about the love affair between fighter pilots and female pilots of U-2 (no, not a US spy plane ![]() squadron. Po-2 served as night bomber during the WW II. After being in hospital, fighter pilot Bulochkin was signed off from his fighter squadron to the night bombers Po-2 squadron where he found himself the only man pilot. Before, he and his two friends decided not to get involved with women until war ends. Bulochkin discovered that commander of his female squadron also decided not to get involved with men until war ends. But the love rules... This movie was famous for its song - it became nation popular for decades. |
