Air Tigers - taf-01.jpg (1/1) [55K]
The attached pictures were released by the Tamil Tigers - the
Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). They are of the Tamileelam Air Force (TAF), known as the Air Tigers, and show one of the aircraft probably involved in the attack on the Sri Lanka AF base at Katunayake in the early hours of Monday. I confess I can't identify the aircraft type - can anyone help? There are enough clues for someone who knows their stuff. This first picture shows the bombs being fitted. --
