required .. no traditional.. not really expected.. probably not.. did you have a good relationship with him, was he "always there and always ready" for you did he go out of his way sometimes to work with your "weird schedule"? if he's a wine drinker.. do some research and get him a nice bottle.. $40 or more if he's married.. spend about the same on a gift card to a restaurant he can take the wife too.. Applebee's, Outback, etc (plan on dinner for two, no big drinking bill and no appetizers) BT "Ridge" wrote in message ... I'm sure this has come up before, but let me ask again. I should get my PPL within a week or 2 depending on weather and schedules and maybe some luck. Is a gift to the CFI appropriate/traditional/required/expected? Thanks. |
