Open & 18M & Regionals Albert Lea USA. # 711 reporting
Saturday, June 2, 2007. Had a possible soaring window. Gridded,
watched 2 motorgliders, restart, climb, restart, climb. They reported weak lift, maybe 1200 agl to 1800 agl. Watched big, well, started small, but got bigger, cell to the...Northeast, then another South, then several more surronding us. Then they kept getting bigger, these cells, and now they have cut off all hope. Everybody is back in the boxes, except the Open Class ships, as they are tied out. The cut off low is slowly moving east, should be gone by late Sunday. Thermal tight, Soar high, Fly safe # 711 reporting.
