A Red-Letter Day in Iowa
Let the world know that on this day, Monday, August 13, 2007, at 11:30
AM CDT, our son, Joseph John Honeck, III did successfully solo fly a 1973 Cessna 150L, tail number N11435, to three successful takeoffs (and, thankfully, landings) at Iowa City Municipal Airport. To say that he is (and we are) busting with pride would be an understatement of epic proportions. He's worked hard to get this far, and has earned this milestone -- I suspect his feet may soon be touching the ground!
